Kimberlee Wilkens presents to University of Illinois Board of Trustees

Kimberlee Wilkens, Director of Undergraduate Studies and Instructor of Industrial Design, was highlighted among fellow faculty and students at this year's UIC "Ignite. Innovation." for her interdisciplinary research and development work focusing on problems doctors face during microsurgery. As an affiliate faculty member in the Department of Urology, and dedicated School of Design representative to the variety of medically-based labs held within the Innovation Center, Kimberlee is an avid proponent of interdisciplinary collaboration as way to generate innovation towards medical devices and healthcare delivery systems.
