Sung Jang wins Silver A’Design Award

Sung Jang, Assistant Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Industrial Design, has been honored with the Silver A’ Design Award for “My Dino”, a wooden toy which utilizes a genderless snap joint to allow endless building possibilities. By eliminating separate male and female part, any joint can be connected to any other joint, allowing wider building possibilities. The competing collection is a series of three dinosaur toys that can easily break down to block elements and rebuilt into another dinosaur.

The prestigious Silver A' Design Award is given to work that exhibits exemplary levels of perfection in design. Entries to the A' Toy Design Awards are peer reviewed and anonymously judged by a grand expert jury panel of prominent academics, influential press members and experienced professionals.
