Brian Anderson :: Industrial Design Lecture Series
Brian Anderson is a designer who explores the expressive potential of technology and the construction of critically-oriented cultural artifacts. A maker driven by unbounded curiosity for material and process, Anderson’s work combines traditional and advanced fabrication techniques to investigate aesthetics of production and receive notions of beauty and meaning that read through material, form, color, and pattern.
Anderson received an MFA in Designed Objects from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago; an MFA in Writing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago; an M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate School of Education; and a BS in Chemistry with specialization in Earth Science from the University of California, San Diego.
